Scholarships
Development and furthering of education among the youth in our community are paramount to the purpose and principals of EWI. We hold our annual golf tournament to raise funds for this specific purpose. Scholarships are given each year to high school juniors. Area schools are invited to apply and the recipients are selected by an evaluation process involving EWI members, as well as a panel of outside professional businesswomen. EWI Knoxville awards a first and second place scholarship each year with the first place winner being eligible to participate at the corporate level. Additionally, our chapter awards two ASIST Scholarships to students that attend National College. These recipients are most often single mothers that are furthering their education in order to provide a better life for her family.
